Lutheran Hour Ministry in Malawi has a receptive local church partner in evangelism circles.
Mr. Mphatso Thole, the Acting Manager for LHM Malawi centre, said this to a gathering of about 300 people who were listening to Gospel messages during Public rally at Mponera on 24th September, 2010.
“In fact I must make it clear statement here that the way you (congregations) have gathered and participated in this event indicates one of our success story to tell.” He said.
He also appreciated collective efforts the congregations have made since planning sessions they held with Audience Relations Staff to date.
“I should also thank you for participating fully from the time you were holding meetings planning and organising this event to now when we are together implementing it before these people.”
Mr. Thole further encouraged the local church Pastor, evangelist, local leaders, church choirs to continue showing gesture especailly becuase LHM Malawi centre will strive to work with the church partner sharing the Good News to all nations in the country.
Mponera Lutheran Parish has nine local congregations and seven congregations participated at the event, representing 78%.
Chior groups dominated the rally.
There was also a drama performance done by one man, Mike Lulanga, a long time volunteer and drama artist to LHM in Malawi.
